Hello,

My name is Zita and I am a freelance illustrator based in Geneva, Switzerland.

I was born surrounded by mermaids and other wonderful characters and was lucky enough to have a family that was active in the artistic field. Thanks to them, I was not even one year old when they passed on their passion for drawing.

However, I put drawing aside to study literature. After graduating from the University of Geneva with a degree in literature, and spending several years working in the financial field, I realized that the magical world of drawing had never left me... and that my literary studies had somehow joined it :) so I started to study illustration, in particular children's illustration, as well as writing for children's literature.

I am particularly fascinated by watercolor and colored pencil, two mediums that never cease to amaze me! I love inventing stories and creating illustrations that invite dreams.

I am currently working on my first children's book project.
